There may be no universal societal/ethical truths. There may be physical truth, but whether that can inform the sensibilities of sentient beings is hard to tell.

Sitting in silence and listening for the whispers of the collective consciousness.

By making sacrifices and leaving the comfort zone.

You find truth by seeking it out -- then you jump aboard a train that never stops.

I think truth is a human construct, and because of that I dont believe in a universal truth. I do not include scientific facts as truths, but consider them more of a repeatable natural phenomena since they dont really have anything to do with us (ie physics and chemistry will continue when we get wiped off this planet). Through time humans have created "truths" based on our beliefs and the thought systems we have created (economics, politics, religion) that rely entirely on getting enough people to subscribe to your "truth" to survive. Just look at politics, gender identity and religion to get a dose of conflicting "truths". I think we build truths to understand our world and create mental models that help us thrive (even if "us" is those in power that create or perpetuate these truths for their own gain). The idea of finding truth is almost like a wild goose chase. Some of them we might uncover as natural phenomena/facts (ie theres life outside our planet... we either find it or we dont) and others we may never resolve (is there a God, or is a fetus a human being).

Trust is the amalgamation of aspects and experiences. If you think there is only one viewpoint or way to see a thing, you have not found the truth. You have to be able to see the same thing from multiple points-of-view and construct the whole thing in your mind. This gives you a better understanding of the context of the thing. . . which is an integral part of the truth of it. . . because it defines what influences who sees it and how. Which will always be a part of constructing an un-truth and so it MUST be a part of what IS truth.

If you don't know the truth about something yet, then it comes by sharing your experiences about that something with others, discussing them and then coming to a consensus. Achieving this involves doing things to test its truthiness. But there's no absolute truth.

Truth is relative. Just love.

Nothing is universal. All is cultural, contextual, subjective, complex, changing, fluid, and profoundly nuanced.

Look, think, act, listen

A huge amount of this is human perspective, but for the most part it is all because of our limitations of being human. That said, I truly believe the scientific method developed ages ago is our best approach as a species.

By understanding that "truth" is varied and that seeing or hearing truth depends on where you are standing and how you are listening. Also, reading.

There is no truth, no objective reality. Reality is simply a product of perception and the truth we see is subjective to our vantage point.

Meditate. Shush the chatter of the hardware (the brain) and tap into the source energy. Be quiet. It will tell you what you need to know.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.

There's a world of difference between truth and facts. Facts can obscure the truth.

I always speak the truth. Not the whole truth, because there's no way, to say it all. Saying it all is literally impossible: words fail. Yet it's through this very impossibility that the truth holds onto the real.

Visibility is a trap.

The worker must work for the glory of his handiwork, not simply for pay; the thinker must think for truth, not for fame.

Truth is most likely discovered through intentional disregard for prevailing wisdom based in the ever fallible human means of organization and control.

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.

One unerring mark of the love of truth is not entertaining any proposition with greater assurance than the proofs it is built upon will warrant.

To borrow again, and not reuse, truth may well be a subjective experience. However, the perception of experiencing objectively is a way of achieving common understanding of that experience. The question becomes, does that have intrinsic meaning?

Be quiet. Pay attention.

By getting rid of delusions one by one with an honesty of the researcher, no matter what the consequences will be.

It is always advisable to perceive clearly our ignorance.

For though we love both the truth and our friends, piety requires us to honor the truth first. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.

By seeing the person.

It is relative. Anyone who tells you any different wants your money, time, or commitment.

FInd somebody you trust, and ask.

By looking. Seek and ye shall find.

Science is a differential equation. Religion is a boundary condition.

By not seeking truth. Seek and identify my biases. Rinse and repeat.

Is truth an opposition to false or a lie? In both cases one needs forensic methods of investigation.

Truth is relative. Find the largest lack of lies and go with it.

Through the combination of logical philosophy, the scientific method and honest contemplation of personal experience.

By remembering that truth can have many faces and that you are looking for a right one.

First I check wikipedia. If it sounds right, I'm satisfied. If I don't find the truth there I look elsewhere until I find it. If I don't find it anywhere else then i try to reason it through and make it up for myself.

Beauty is the highest expression of truth and it is revealed in the perfect balance of all the energy of the universe. The perfect expression of any essence is always expressed as beauty and there is no search beyond this.

Truth can be found in silence. We all have innate knowledge within us that can be found when the mind can be quieted.

Questions on the realtionship between what we believe and what we practice.

That is when someone is able to develop a strong and unshakable faith, truth will be found.

By knowing what is not true.

What you know NOW is the truth. What you knew yesterday was true yesterday and tomorrow will bring another truth.

By surrendering to it.

Be truthful without malice and the truth will follow you.

It is just a useful language construction, but hey, we are playing a spiritual game here and want to talk truth about good and evil. Find it Inside. It may reflect the outside MYSTERY.

There is truth in wine and children.

By listening for it. 

Spend 20 minutes alone everyday. Listen to your thoughts.

Listen to others. Listen to yourself. Repeat.

By accepting that people lie and by allowing yourself to be vulnerable and trusting.

Do not trust all men, but trust men of worth. The former course is silly, the latter a mark of prudence.

Do lots of experiments. Make notes. Try again.

A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be.

By assembling facts into a coherent narrative. Truth is relative. Fact is another story.

Seek and ye shall find

Truth is relative and mythic. It is what has been working for long time and for many people as a human nature and it is civilzation dependent. So, I am trying to find wise books and wise friends to trust and then to ask.
