Meaning of life is to understand self. The way you get there is by taking a look within...

You find happiness by leaning into those things that give you fulfillment. These may be small concepts, these may be large concepts. They may be frequent, they may be rare.

Happiness is a string of moments, not a state of being since happiness is fleeting. To me happiness is spending time doing things that bring me joy, with people that bring me joy. Add to that a job that gives me purpose, and voila! Seems like a simplistic view of happiness but there are things that complicate this simple formula. Responsibilities, taxes, politics, identity, the list goes on. We can use Maslow's hierarchy of needs to extrapolate a lot of things that get in the way of happiness. But to keep this one short, the only way to get closer to happiness is to do something about your current situation.

I'm working on this. I'll let you know. The only thing I am certain of right now is that happiness is not found in manufactured food and chemicals parading around as food.

If you don't know the truth about something yet, then it comes by sharing your experiences about that something with others, discussing them and then coming to a consensus. Achieving this involves doing things to test its truthiness. But there's no absolute truth.

Who are you?

Get rid of ego and desire. I want happiness. Take out "I" and "want" and you're left with "happiness".

Nothing is universal. All is cultural, contextual, subjective, complex, changing, fluid, and profoundly nuanced.

To explore the world, learn from others and have a good relationship with yourself.

By aligning thoughts, words and actions

Wanting what you already have and making progress. If today is better than yesterday we will have grown and in growth there is progress.

By understanding that "truth" is varied and that seeing or hearing truth depends on where you are standing and how you are listening. Also, reading.

By turning your attention to other things.

Doing what puts you in flow on a day to day basis, feeling like your mind is challenged, surrounding yourself with good people, and having a balance of what your time is spent on.

Scarcity. This results in hunger of all sorts. Which results in greed, war, and diminishing brotherly love.

Enough food and resources to go around.

Staying in your own lane. We will all be better if we can stop comparing.

We return to the energy soup, the source energy, and report back on what we learned. Then we energy a new simulation.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.

Meaning is produced not only by the relationship between the signifier and the signified but also, crucially, by the position of the signifiers in relation to other signifiers.

Freedom is, first of all, the chance to formulate the available choices, to argue over them -- and then, the opportunity to choose.

Origin of evil is thinking of self always and not caring for others.

What are the origins of the suffering and sadness?

History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce.

My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.

Surround yourself with people who make you happy. People who make you laugh, who help you when you're in need. People who genuinely care. They are the ones worth keeping in your life. Everyone else is just passing through.

All natural capacities of a creature are destined to evolve completely to their natural end.

Evolution helps in progress and makes us better.

I do not see any reason to imagine the existence of a god.

It keeps bringing the best of us to the surface.

It is relative. Anyone who tells you any different wants your money, time, or commitment.

Of life in general, of human life, history, or of my life in particular? In all cases I think it has to do with the stories we tell ourselves as we go along. Whether those stories are true or false we may only find out in the moment of death.

I worry constantly about my children. This technique does not work.

Happiness can be found in all enjoyable things. Happiness is temporary and fleeting. It is relevant but not transcendent to satisfaction.

By focusing on the good and letting go of the bad. Because there will always be bad trying to drag you down, if you let it. And good is always waiting to be discovered.

You have been born with your own happiness, it may be hidden in you, try to restore it.

What do you value most?

Self-consciousness.

Enlightened self-interest. Awareness. What's good for other people is good for me too.

Beauty is the highest expression of truth and it is revealed in the perfect balance of all the energy of the universe. The perfect expression of any essence is always expressed as beauty and there is no search beyond this.

Good exists a priori and it is only negatively affected by the confusion of imbalance. As we find the path to balance good emerges as a shining destination.

There are all the electrons, quarks, etc. etc. but the universe is made of all the experience of all those points of light and dark. Each one represents a universe on its own and can be the whole or part of the perceived universe.

Fear and how that manifests into greed, violence, jealousy, and oppression.

Questions on the realtionship between what we believe and what we practice.

Humans are social beings from the very beginning and it is the very reason that we have been able to evolve to this point. Free will is the product growing out of social oppression and cultural constraint.

GOD: Generator, Operator, Destructor.

Meaning in life normally comes from experience that takes you out of personal habitual habits to a deep connection with what is happening here and now.

Well, good is just a word that is defined according to your life experience. To me good is anything that brings a sense of well being.

The energy that connects us, flows within and between us.

Adherence to internal consistency, logic and consistency with reality, empiricism. It is the best we know of when it comes to knowing truths, if truth is to mean anything at all that is.

Pragmatically speaking that which we have come to know via science. Is there more to it outside of science that we will perhaps never know? Quite possibly.

It's an idea that keeps me in check. As long as I believe that nothing is handed to me that I can't handle, then I believe that there is greater good. I believe in karma, and I think God has a lot to do with karma.

Make a difference in at least one person's life and you've succeeded.

Stop searching for it and practice free will, if it exists that is. But mostly, spend time doing what you enjoy and with people who make you laugh. A major key to finding happiness is cutting out drama.

The scary one: Who are you?

Meditation and mindfulness in a broad sense. Searching for the heart of gold. Your own. Fighting to be good and dancing along.

Necessary and useful idea if we want talk good and evil. And we need to. So, sure there is.

GUARD, watchfulness, effort, hard inward work, discipline, never ending coming back to the mirror. Compassion. Cultural-social consciousness and education. Combined. A quite BORING story. The so called spontaneous good is shiny but weak.

A deficiency or lack of mirror neurons. When people see other people as objects, they feel free to abuse them as they see fit.

Evolution is nature's gift to explore what is possible.

Survive, be, prosper if you want, then replicate or evolve.

Everything is. It's up to us to determine whether things are good or not good.

Energy, matter and in our world, water. The tangible and the intangible. Things we can see: like people, plants and stars; and things we can't see, like electricity, money and gravity.

Space dust exploded after billions of years of atmospheric implosion. The shattered dust particles from the explosion are our planets.

Listen to others. Listen to yourself. Repeat.

Is there life in outer space?

He's a humble crafstman. 

When we realize that searching for it is pointless, for it's not the circumstances, but the approach that allows us to obtain happiness. Life is not a quest, it simply is, we may choose to smile with along or to keep struggling in a rat race.

Evil is a necessity required for the good to be noticed and appreciated as a contrary, for the good thrives by fighting the evil.

Good means not merely not to do wrong, but rather not to desire to do wrong.

First you have to know and understand yourself. All you have is this life. You are responsible for your life. So don't let others tell you what to do, don't be afraid of messing up or embarrassing yourself. Find love, find what you love to do.

I consider ethics to be an exclusively human concern with no superhuman authority behind it.

Traveling through life with intention but without expectation. Balancing my ambition for the future and my musings on the past with living in the present moment.

The human mind can be forged into peace and harmony with practice, but it is inclined to chaos without conscious, determined effort. The mind is a wandering, unruly puppy, that must be gently and compassionately trained.

Creative energy driven by fear, greed, selfishness, and myopic, short-term thinking.

Can only be identified through reading and reflection.
